Beautiful sunny day , collecting salad and making Pesto at the “urban farm at Battery Park”, Camilla and Henry told us a little about the great work of all the volunteers in NY helping to realize projects in the Parks or Community Gardens, nearly everything is private initiative and sponsored by donations. After that we hit Governors Island meeting Marisa at “Earth Matters” they told us that also in New York there is now a hugh amount of younger generation working at and realizing urban farming projects , just like and Berlin . One their the chickens was very curious whats inside our cart…..

Per & Malte – So much fun to meet you & to learn about your NYC tour.
My boys loved making salad with you at the Battery Urban Farm. Question – they claim the recipe for the honey/mustard dressing was their creation – not yours…. true or false?
I’ve posted a picture of you & your fabulous cart on my blog. If you want to take a look, come visit me at http://valzcorner.blogspot.com/
Will be looking out for your updates. Cheers!
