Children cooking & Harlem Carrie Mc Cracken Garden

We met great little cooks at the The Mickey Mantle School and Malte was improvising, backing the Pizza in a pan and a little tiny grill. at the afternoon we walk up to Harlem, sharing a Risotto with the very nice guys from the Carrie Mc Cracken Community Garden. It was very interesting to talk to Steve and Michelle a little longer about the story of the Garden and how they could manage to revitalize this beautiful oasis with the engagement of the neighborhood in 2009 and also to hear about the background work that it takes .
